Because why the hell not.

I was a little remiss in keeping a blog for the last couple of weeks, mainly because of the crazy that’s been going on for the last month or so.

Updates:

1. Endsems. Then they were over, and I somehow managed a good CPI this sem. Go me. No, really, it’s a really nice average for me, and now I’m closer than ever to that 8.0 CPI. So yay. I guess Reading Fiction really helped, and I’m definitely going to take more Lit courses, it was so much fun.

2. English endsems. I was really, really afraid, but I got through them somehow, and I’m really glad I did. Fun to study, even if the pressure I put on myself just made it harder to concentrate. I feel like I’ll pass, but I can’t be sure, never having sat these exams before. If I do, and I move on to the second year of the BA, I fervently swear that I won’t leave so much to the last minute. And not just because of the exam tension, but because I honestly felt like I wanted to learn a whole lot more and I wasn’t able to in such a short amount of time.

3. It’s so cold right now, my hands are sticking to the keyboard keys. Like seriously. I think it might have something to do with the fact that I’m in the U.S. of A. right now.

Whee. It’s actually nice here, notwithstanding the weather and the forced need to make light conversation that drives a total introvert like me stark, raving mad.

But I really like everyone I’ve met so far, they’ve all been so kind and so friendly. Yeah. And Virginia Tech is really pretty. Like, really pretty. So Imma do this weekly blog thing talking about new things I’ve experienced(for me, as always) but also for anyone else who gives a damn. And a lot of things, surprisingly, are new. An insane amount of things. I thought if you grew up watching American TV shows, you’d know everything you’d need to know about the US, but you absolutely don’t. Things still astound me every day. And it’s not even unique to me, because every Indian I meet here just nods knowingly when I mention this stuff.

So yeah, going to write about things. In the US. And stuffs. Weekly.(I hope.)

Disclaimer: I’m not sure yet, but I’m not going to write about people I know, because these posts tend to go back to the people they’re about and then those people get all senti- and stuff. So even if I do write about people(and I MUST, because I’m so very interested in people), it’ll be private to me.
